DJ for your wedding

More than twenty weddings a year, in Alphen aan den Rijn, Leiden and the rest of the Randstad. From the first dance to the very last song.

A wedding isn't just any party. The dance floor is full of people who don't know each other, from your friends to the uncle who's still going strong at eleven. My job is to get that whole room on board, without it ever feeling like a standard set.

I usually start right after dinner. I open gently with warm, familiar feel-good songs, so everyone can catch up and grab a drink. Then often comes the first dance, and after that the party builds step by step — up to a final hour where everything goes and everyone sings along.

Beforehand we have a quick call or chat. Free of charge, just to get to know each other: who's coming, what do you love, and what vibe are you after? Requests are welcome; we'll agree on how to handle them during that same conversation.

And if you need more than just a DJ: I've been organising events for over ten years. Lighting and sound, a DJ booth that matches your styling, a saxophonist or violinist, a table magician, a photo booth or photo and video of the night — I arrange it through people I know and trust.

The way you picked the right moments and connected with the crowd was truly fantastic. Your ability to make the perfect choices on the spot made the party at the end of our wedding magical!

Frequently asked questions about weddings

Do you also play during the ceremony and dinner?
I usually start when dinner is over and the party begins. If you'd like music from the reception or during dinner, you book me for longer and I'm there all evening as your single point of contact.
Do you announce the first dance?
I'm a DJ first and foremost, not a host. If there's nobody else, I can announce the first dance, but for more extensive MC work I'd rather find someone who specialises in it. I'm happy to think along about who would suit you.
How much does a wedding DJ cost?
A night starts from € 740 including VAT for three hours of DJ, with my own DJ set-up, the meeting beforehand, preparation, travel within 50 km, and set-up and breakdown. Most couples choose a longer night, often with lighting and sound or a live act. Send me your date and venue and I'll put together a tailored proposal.
What happens if you get sick?
Then an experienced fellow DJ from my network, someone I know well, is ready to step in. They get everything we discussed together, so your party goes ahead exactly as planned.
