Who I am

DJ Anders is the stage name of Dan Cohen. I work under the name Get it Dan, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 72453273, based in Alphen aan den Rijn. For anything relating to your data, email me at [email protected] or send a WhatsApp to +31 6 27 00 30 67.

What data I process, and why

When you fill in the request form

I process your name, email address, phone number, the date and venue of your party, the type of party, the number of guests and your message. I need this to tell you whether I'm available and to make a proposal. The legal basis is the performance of a contract, or the steps leading up to it.

I keep requests for up to two years after our last contact. If you become a client, I keep the invoice details for seven years, as required by the Dutch tax authorities.

When you message, call or email me

I process what you send me, plus your phone number or email address. WhatsApp messages run through Meta; their terms also apply to that traffic.

When you visit the site

My hosting provider records standard technical data, such as your IP address and the time of your visit. This is needed to show the site and protect it against abuse. In addition, I use statistics and advertising cookies — but only if you accept them.

Cookies

Necessary storage is always set; it's needed to make the site work. Everything else only after your consent.

You can change your choice at any time via — that button is also at the bottom of every page. If you decline, the site works just the same; I simply don't measure anything.

Who else sees your data

I don't sell your data and don't share it for other purposes. I do work with a few parties that keep the site and my administration running:

Cloudflare — hosting of the site and processing of the request form.
Resend — sending the emails about your request (servers in the EU).
Google Ireland — Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you accept cookies.
Meta Platforms Ireland — the advertising pixel, only if you accept cookies.
TikTok Technology Limited (Ireland) — the TikTok pixel, only if you accept cookies.
Suppliers and partners — if you book lighting, sound, a live act or photography through me, I only share what's needed with that party: venue, times and a contact person.

Some of these parties are based in the United States. For those, the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework apply.

Your rights

You can always ask me which data I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, or withdraw your consent. Send an email to [email protected] and I'll respond within a month.

If we can't work it out together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Security

The site runs entirely over a secure connection (https). Requests arrive in a protected environment and in my mailbox, which is secured with two-step verification. I don't keep more than necessary.

Changes

If anything changes in how I handle data, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
