DJ for drinks and receptions
Music that fills the room without drowning out the conversation. And if things kick off towards the end, I simply switch along.
At drinks or a reception, the music isn't the main act, but it is the difference between a quiet room and a night that flows by itself. The volume has to be right: people need to hear each other, but it shouldn't feel like a waiting room either.
I play warm and familiar music, with a build-up you barely notice. And if things do kick off towards the end — which happens more often than you'd think — I switch along and it turns into a party after all.
Three hours is usually just right for drinks or a reception. My own DJ set-up and a microphone for a welcome word or toast are included.
Frequently asked questions about drinks & receptions
How much does a DJ for drinks cost?
Three hours of drinks start from € 740 including VAT. That includes my own DJ set-up, the meeting beforehand, preparation, travel within 50 km, and set-up and breakdown. If the venue has no sound system, I'll include one in a tailored proposal.
Can you play at a low volume?
Yes, that's exactly the starting point for drinks. I keep the volume at conversation level and only build up when the atmosphere asks for it.
